Gardening tip: How to pull out Oak and other Tree Seedlings of pliers from your tool box. You do not need to buy any fancy garden tools.
I live under 30-50′ Oaks that produce tons (and I do mean tons) of acorns every other year now. What is also a fact- acorns can sit hidden in the ground for a year or two before they decide to germinate too. So every spring I am busy pulling out Oak Tree seedlings out of my garden and yard. It stinks.
So my gardening tip for you if you have Oak or any other tree seedlings emerging in the spring, use a long handled pair of pliers either regular or needle nose and grab as close to the ground and possible and twist and pull out. I many times do this chore after a rain when the ground is soft and the seedlings pull right out.
I have even included a fun video of how I have my gardening helper Dora the cat helping me. Thanks for stopping by and if you ever have a question, feel free to contact me.
