Let me tell you a little about me – I am Renee and I have a green thumb. Life has not always been easy but turning 50 has made me realize and focus more on me and what I can do to make this a better world.
This is one of the four blogs I have. This blog caters to my outdoorsy personality. I love gardening so much that I created another blog called The Garden Frog.
I also have a blog called On With Life At 50 where I talk about life after divorce. I could have let been the end of the world. Instead, it’s a new chapter in my journey. And I want to encourage other women in my situation to embrace this new life and rock it OUR way!
My latest blog is called DIY Dreams of Home. I’m still in the process of designing it and I can’t wait for you to visit and see my tiny home I am creating!
I know, it’s a real eye sore, isn’t it? But I envisioned what would have been like when I was done.
When I do find the perfect ugly house, I’ll document my journey – bloopers and all, sharing DIY tips and talk about the products I use and where I got them.
I do not know where I am going but my dream of living on a few acres on the edge of town, within an hour or two of a major city. I want to own a garden or an antique floral shop – that’s my dream!
About The Garden Frog Boutique
As you read my posts and see what I do, you will understand that I will try to keep it real. No staging or pretending here because I will admit that I am not a perfect gardener or DIYer. I am messy and I make messes. And you will get to see my messes. And like everyone else I hate cleaning up messes!
I love finding low cost budget friendly ways to inspire, create, and garden. My current home has been a fixer upper for over 8 years and now I am selling it to find my dream home and start over as an empty nester and a divorcee.
More About Me
I know it seems crazy to have this many cats and dogs but each one has a story of how they came in to our home.
Let me introduce you to them.
First, my dogs Sierra an Australian Shepherd and Gerdy Mae a Jack/Fox Terrier mix. They keep me busy vacuuming and filling in holes in the yard but I love them!
My fur babies do not deal well with my absence {separation anxiety}. They watch and follow me around to make sure I am not leaving. Babykitty (she is the oldest at 8 years old) is usually inside. She is my bitchy kitty because she always looks mad.
Cocokitty loves the outdoors and she is a bit of a loner until nighttime. That’s when she comes through the door meowing her entrance and does not stop until I say “hi Cocokitty” several times and then she jumps in my lap to be petted.
I know I rambled and that’s what I do. I am a daydreamer, creator, and gardener with dreams of gardening, writing, and traveling. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy reading my blog and soon I will be adding a couple more blogs dedicated to home and lifestyle.
